Privacy Policy
Player 2 Coach is used by high-school-age soccer players, so most of the people in this database are under 18. This policy is written to be read by a parent.
Effective August 20, 2026
The short version
- A player under 18 is invisible until a parent or guardian says otherwise. No public profile, no appearance in coach search, no search-engine indexing.
- A parent controls those three things separately, and can withdraw any of them at any time.
- The public version of a profile is deliberately thin: first name and last initial, never a full name, school, city, or contact details.
- Full details are visible only to college coaches we have manually verified against their program’s published staff directory.
- We do not sell player data, we do not share it for advertising, and we run no advertising or analytics trackers.
Who we are
Player 2 Coach is a recruiting platform that lets soccer players build a profile and lets college coaches search for players. You can reach us at Fut3lite@gmail.com.
Players under 13
Player 2 Coach is not available to players under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. We ask for a date of birth at signup. If it shows an age under 13, the signup is refused. If you believe a child under 13 has an account, email us and we will delete it.
Players aged 13 to 17
A player between 13 and 17 must give us a parent or guardian’s name, email address, relationship, and optionally a phone number. We email that guardian a private link. Until the guardian opens it and makes a choice, the player’s profile is stored but completely invisible — not public, not in coach search, not indexed by search engines.
The guardian is asked three separate questions, and can answer them independently:
- Public profile — may the thin public version of this profile exist at all?
- Coach search — may verified college coaches find this player and see their full record?
- Search-engine indexing — may Google and other search engines list the public profile? This one is never on by default.
We record when the guardian acted and the network address the platform reported for that request, so there is a record of who consented and when. A guardian can withdraw consent at any time by emailing us, which immediately removes the profile from public view and from coach search.
What we collect about a player
- Identity: first name, last name, date of birth, email address, phone number.
- Soccer: position and secondary position, preferred foot, height, weight, club or team name, competition level, graduation year, and links to highlight film.
- Academic: high school, city and state, GPA, and SAT or ACT scores if you choose to enter them.
- Account: your sign-in identity, handled by our login provider.
Height, weight and GPA each carry a marker recording whether the value was verified, self-reported, or estimated, so a coach can tell the difference.
What is public, and what is not
If a public profile is allowed, it shows only: first name and last initial, gender, position, graduation year, state, preferred foot, height, club or team name, and competition level.
It never shows a full last name, high school, city, email address, phone number, GPA, test scores, date of birth, or any guardian information. Those fields are not hidden with styling — they are never sent to the page at all.
What verified coaches can see
A coach account is not enough. We manually check that a coach appears on their program’s published athletics staff directory before approving them. Only after that can they see a player’s full name, high school, city, email, phone, GPA and test scores.
Every time a coach opens a full player record, we log it — which coach, which player, and when. If you ever want to know who has looked at a player’s record, email us and we will tell you.
What we collect about coaches
Name, work email address, job title, the program they coach for, and the evidence used to verify them. Coach contact details shown in our program directory are compiled from publicly published college athletics staff directories.
Payments
Building a profile and appearing in coach search are free. If a player subscribes to Player Pro, payment is handled by Stripe. We never see or store card numbers. We keep a record of the subscription status and renewal date. Stripe retains its own record of the transaction after an account is deleted, because payment records must be kept for tax and fraud-prevention purposes.
Who we share data with
We do not sell player data and we do not share it for advertising. We use these service providers:
- Clerk — sign-in and account security.
- Neon — the database the platform runs on.
- Netlify — website hosting.
- Stripe — payments, for subscribers only.
We run no advertising networks, no analytics trackers, and no social media pixels.
How long we keep it
We keep a player’s profile for as long as the account exists. Deleting a profile removes it from public view and from coach search immediately. Records of coach views are kept as an audit trail so we can answer “who saw this?” later.
Deleting a profile or withdrawing consent
A player can edit their profile at any time from their dashboard. To withdraw guardian consent, or to delete a profile and its associated data, email us at Fut3lite@gmail.com from either the player’s or the guardian’s email address and we will action it. Withdrawing consent takes the profile out of public view and out of coach search straight away.
Search engines
Search-engine indexing is off unless it has been switched on deliberately. When it is off, we tell search engines not to index the page. We cannot force a search engine to forget a page it has already seen, so if indexing is later switched off, a cached copy may persist for a while at the search engine’s discretion.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy in a way that matters, we will update the effective date at the top of this page.
